Jumuiya ya Vijana na Elimu Kaskazini ‘A’ (JUVIEKA) which is translated in English as the District Youth and Education Association is a non-profit youth led organization that engages youth in development across North region Unguja. It is located in Zanzibar, North ‘A’ district.
The organization is registered in 2011 with the registration number 964 under Society Act No. 6 of 1995 and awarded new registration number Z0000115268.
The International Youth Day Forum 2024 at Mkokotoni Training Hall brought together young people to discuss opportunities, challenges, and innovations
The Community Evaluation Meeting in North ‘A’ District aimed to review local initiatives and strengthen approaches in social development planning
The Accountability Champions Training for Mkokotoni and Tumbatu Uvivini Shehias enhanced community leaders’ capacity to promote transparency and good governance
The Community Training on Climate Change Rights in Makoba Shehia raised awareness on environmental protection and adaptation strategies for local resilience
The Awareness Session on Good Governance and Civic Engagement in North ‘A’ District encouraged citizens to take part in decision-making and hold leaders accountable
The Youth Empowerment Workshop on Environmental Conservation in Mkokotoni inspired young people to lead actions that protect natural resources and promote sustainability
